BABY sensory classes are back with a new home - as mums and their tots get the first chance to enjoy classes post lockdown.

Leader Amanda Reynolds greeted dozens of new mums with their little ones at the new base in Broomhill Community Hub.

She had previously been in Funworld for seven years but the business recently closed down.

With social distancing in place Baby Sensory Inverclyde currently have a maximum of 15 mums and babies in a class spread over the day.

Delighted Amanda said: "It is brilliant to be back up and running.

"I had my doubts at times!

"We used to be in Funworld and we were really sad it closed.

"But we are delighted to relocate to Broomhill.

"It is a lovely location.

"I think the mums were just glad that the classes are back on.

"Lockdown hasn't been easy.

"Some feel like they have missed out on maternity, going to baby sensory and all the other things you would normally do.

"It is so lovely to welcome everyone here.

"I have a class in Inverkip Parish Church as well and I hope to get it up and running some time soon."
