Two people were taken into custody
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a young man was allegedly assaulted in Inverkip last night.
Officers say that the 20-year-old was attacked on Langhouse Road around 9pm.
Officers traced and arrested two suspects, however they are looking to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or noticed a group of four young males aged around 15 to 20-years-old in the area.
Information should be passed to the police through the 101 number or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
