West Blackhall Street
POLICE were called after a man suffered facial injuries in an alleged assault in Greenock town centre.
A 35-year-old male is said to have been attacked in a flat on West Blackhall Street yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened around 4pm.
Officers were seen standing guard at the scene and two men who have been apprehended now face prosecution.
A spokesperson for Greenock police said: "A 27-year-old male and a 30-year-old male have been arrested in relation to the incident."
