The accident in Port Glasgow's Glenhuntly Road happened on Saturday morning.

The blue Fiat vehicle bearing 'P' plates ploughed through a fence and was left badly damaged after rolling on to its side and coming to rest atop a small wall behind a house.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Officers attended at Glenhuntly Road, Port Glasgow, at 11.30am on Saturday September 11 after reports of crash involving one vehicle.

"There were no reports of any injuries."
