AN ASSAULT accused Greenock man is charged with throwing a chair at another male and repeatedly punching him on the head.
Russell Hunter, 37, is said to have committed the alleged offence within a house on Gilmour Street on August 17.
Hunter, of Dempster Street, appeared at the sheriff court on an undertaking yesterday/on Friday and pleaded not guilty through lawyer Aidan Gallagher.
He was granted bail with the case due to call again next February.
