MORE than 3,000 local people have been helped by a project set up to combat loneliness in Inverclyde.
The Your Voice community connectors team have offered support to the most vulnerable in the community.
They have helped find them places in peer support groups, training and education, church groups, volunteering and with other agencies.
The Community Connectors project is a key part of the area's bid to help those with long-term health problems.
