A POPULAR town centre social club is doing its bit to support local causes at a time of great need.
The Regent Club, who have fought to survive during the coronavirus outbreak, have sent a £300 donation to local charity Children in Poverty Inverclyde.
Grateful charity chairman Pat Burke said: "This is a wonderful gesture from the Regent Club, who are great supporters of ours."
The charity will use the donation - along with £1,000 from Lodge XII - to help children at Christmas.
