THE Cabinet Secretary for communities and local government virtually 'visited' the area to hear about the work of Compassionate Inverclyde.
Aileen Campbell MSP joined a Zoom call on the third anniversary of the charity's launch on Tuesday.
The Cabinet Secretary heard of the support that Compassionate Inverclyde has been providing in response to Covid-19. She said: "The volunteers of Compassionate Inverclyde are truly inspirational – they are supporting each other through difficult times and are a perfect example of how the voluntary sector can respond rapidly, flexibly and effectively to help our communities."
