A GREENOCK man has been charged with possession of extreme pornographic images of bestiality.
Robert McNab, 33, is said to have been caught with the alleged material within a flat on the town's Nelson Street.
Prosecutors say the claimed offence was committed between May 7 and 22.
An indictment charge against McNab alleges that he had 'extreme pornographic images depicting, in an explicit and realistic way, acts which involved sexual activity between a person and an animal'.
He has been remanded in custody since his arrest.
McNab pleaded not guilty through lawyer Gerry Keenan at the first diet calling of the indictment case against him.
He is due back in the sheriff court on December 1.
