A POT of £200,000 for good causes is up for grabs from the council.
Community groups and voluntary organisations are being invited to apply for a share of the fund, provided by Inverclyde Council as part of its regular support for local organisations.
The closing date for applications is noon on October 9.
Bids will be considered by the grants sub-committee in November.
Councillor Graeme Brooks, chair of the committee, said: “The grants to voluntary organisations budget is set aside each year to provide one-off support to give groups a helping hand in doing good work which benefits our area so much.
“The funding this financial year is to support groups and organisations which provide vital and ongoing community services.
"Some of these have lost crucial funding or income due to Covid-19 and some need extra cash to meet social distancing measures and higher hygiene standards."
