Three hair-oic childcare workers from Inverclyde cut their beloved locks and raised over £1,300.

Heather Tolan and Claire McGarrity of Greenock and Jacqui Breakenridge from Bishopton teamed up to raise vital funds for the Ardgowan Hospice Butterfly Project, Mind Mosaic Child and Family Therapies, Mary's Meals and CHAS.

As well as raising the total of £1350 between them, the trio also donated their locks to The Little Princess Trust.

Heather said: "Due to lockdown, it meant that we've been able to donate significantly more hair that we'd expected to - not many other things about Covid-19 have been positive, but for our hair growth it was so helpful!

"Between us, we've been able to donate an amazing 50" of hair to the Princess Trust to be made into wigs.

"Thank you to everyone that has supported us, and for thinking of others during this difficult time."
