Wellington Street
AN intruder fled after attempting to gain entry to a home in Greenock - only an hour after already trying to break-in.
A householder on Wellington Street heard footsteps around 2am on Sunday morning and challenged a person he found attempting to get inside.
The culprit was chased away, but brazenly returned 60 minutes later to once again attempt to get inside. Again he was disturbed and fled.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Greenock police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
