A FEMALE driver and her passengers had a lucky escape after her car went out of control and ended up on its roof in a field.
The accident occurred around 1pm yesterday afternoon on Kilmacolm Road in Greenock and polices attended at the scene.
All of the occupants emerged unscathed and police closed the road for a short period while the vehicle was recovered.
Greenock police told the Telegraph that the driver will be the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal in connection with licence and insurance matters.
