THE MP for Inverclyde has signed a letter of support for a Bill which aims to block controversial 'fire and rehire' practices by employers trying to make contract cuts due to coronavirus.
Ronnie Cowan has pledged his support to an SNP colleague's campaign.
He said: "I am happy to add my name in support of Gavin Newlands' letter to the UK Government regarding his Fire and Rehire Bill.
"Many of my Inverclyde constituents have been affected through their employment at British Airways and British Gas."
