A person has been hit by a train between Westerton and Dalmuir.
All services to and from the two stations were cancelled between the two lines yesterday evening.

ScotRail said: "Due to a person being struck by a train between Westerton and Dalmuir all lines are closed.

A British Transport Police spokesman said: "British Transport Police were called to Singer railway station at 11.01pm yesterday evening following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Officers attended and a man was taken to a local hospital where he remains. His injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
"This incident is not being treated as suspicious.’
