A CHARITY that helps support local fishermen has received £500 from a national supermarket giant.
Clyde Fishermen's Trust benefited from Tesco's Covid-19 Community Fund and the money will be used to support fishing communities on the Clyde.
Through its 'Bags of Help' initiative, the retailer provided the one-off payment as part of its emergency response to support local communities.
Around 10 local good causes have benefited from the scheme.
