MSP Stuart McMillan has welcomed the news that dentistry services will resume in Inverclyde next month.
Back in August, he wrote to the government over the fact non-emergency treatments were only available for NHS patients if they were willing to go private.
Mr McMillan said: "I appreciate that dentists are not immune to the impact of Covid-19 but this is about providing safe dental care to all patients - not just those that can afford to go private."
