A LABOUR MSP is demanding extra cash for Inverclyde to recover from the pandemic.
Neil Bibby says the Scottish Gvernment should be giving the area extra resources after it was hit hard by Covid-19 and was branded Scotland's 'Covid capital' due to having the highest death rate from the virus.
Mr Bibby said: "It is clear that this pandemic is not having the same impact everywhere in Scotland and that some areas, like Inverclyde, have been disproportionately hurt by it.
"We need government action and support to match the restrictions that have been placed on Inverclyde and West Scotland."
