LIBRARY staff across Inverclyde have gathered around 4,000 books for local people using their new connect and collect service.
Five libraries across the district are now taking part in the initiative.
Customers can call or make a request online.
Connect and collect is open at Greenock Central, Port Glasgow and Gourock five days a week, with Kilmacolm operational on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 2pm and then Inverkip and Wemyss Bay each Tuesday and Thursday from 1 to 4pm.
Customers can either call their nearest library or place a request online and staff will have their bag ready for collection the next day.
