INVERCLYDE Royal will welcome a number of newly-qualified health professionals as part of a health board recruitment drive.
NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde has signed up 536 nurses and midwives to work in facilities across the west of Scotland.
A number will make their way to Greenock and other new recruits will also be heading for Glasgow Royal Infirmary, the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and Vale of Leven hospital.
Some nurses will also take on roles out in the community.
