A NEW book about Greenock in the 1920s has been published by a local author.
Joe Gurney's book gives an insight into the area during the 'roaring twenties' and covers various events such as the unveiling of the Well Park war memorial, Morton winning the Scottish Cup and more.
The book is priced at £15 and while the Watt Institute shop is closed due to Covid-19, Mr Gurney is happy for those looking to purchase the book to email him direct at joegurney@live.co.uk
