A person has been hit by a train between Holytown and Coatbridge.
Rail passengers are being warned to expect delays between Milngavie, Motherwell and Cumbernauld in both directions.
ScotRail customers are being asked to travel via Coatdye to and from Glasgow Queen Street low level.

The current condition of the person to have been hit by the train is currently unknown.
We have contacted British Transport Police for further comment.
