A LOCAL children's charity has received a cash boost from Amazon in Gourock.
Big-hearted staff at the Faulds Park centre donated £1,000 to the Barnardo's Thrive Service in Inverclyde.
It provides short respite breaks for disabled children and their families.
Lorna Sharples, site leader at Amazon Gourock, said: "The team at Amazon is passionate about supporting the young people in our community and we jumped at the chance to make this donation."
Barnardo’s Scotland added: "The impact of Covid-19 continues to be deeply felt by children in the Inverclyde community and it’s fantastic to get this support from the Amazon team.
"It will enable us to continue offering services to the children who need us most."
