INVERCLYDE Royal Hospital is set to get new signage courtesy of armed forces veterans.

To mark Armistice Day, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde collaborated with 'Scotland's Bravest' Manufacturing Company - a social enterprise that provides employment opportunities for veterans and others with disabilities.

They will work on a new sign at the main entrance to IRH, to be fitted in the coming weeks.

Melanie McColgan, interim director NHS GGC, said: "We want to extend our thanks to the whole team who are putting the work in to help us improve Inverclyde Royal.

"This is part of our commitment to improve the infrastructure of IRH.

"The hospital plays an essential role in the delivery of care to the Inverclyde community and we are committed to its future."
