A PORT Glasgow woman is pleading with people to support her friend in his hour of need.
Christina Forrester today issued a renewed appeal for the community to donate to a Go Fund Me page set up in aid of her pal Mike Boustead.
She fears Mike may die without the life-saving heart surgery he needs.
Mike, from England, had been staying with Christina at her home in Pladda Avenue, after contracting Covid-19 while in hospital awaiting a bypass.
He has now been left in agony with kidney problems and will need treatment before his delayed operation can get the go-ahead.
Christina, 61, is trying to raise cash to help fund treatment privately.
