FIVE people have been issued with fixed penalties by police after holding a house party in breach of coronavirus restrictions.
Officers were alerted to the get-together on Brisbane Street shortly after midnight yesterday.
Sergeant Jason Logsdon said: "On attending a number of people were found to be in breach of Covid regulations and as a result five fixed penalties were issued.
"The house party was dispersed and householder warned."
