A HOMELESS charity is receiving more funding to meet increased demand for its support.
Starter Packs Inverclyde provides a lifeline to people taking up a new tenancy, offering them vital essentials to set up home.
In recognition of that work, Inverclyde Council is awarding them £15,000 as a one-off grant from their new anti-poverty fund.
The charity helps hundreds of families each year and is also supported by community donations.
