INVERCLYDE'S MSP has warned shoppers and hospitality customers from other places to keep out of the district.
Stuart McMillan spoke out after the First Minister confirmed that travel guidance would be put into law.
Mr McMillan said: "I welcome this, as disappointingly there have been people travelling from areas of high risk to areas with fewer restrictions to visit pubs or shops.
"I do not want people from outside of Inverclyde travelling to the area and potentially spreading the virus in our community.”
