AN alleged teenage drug pusher has appeared at Greenock Sheriff Court charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis.

Sam Downie, 19, is said to have been caught committing the alleged offences at his former flat on the town's Murdieston Street on October 25.

Downie appeared in the dock on a police undertaking and pleaded not guilty to both charges through lawyer Gerry Keenan.

He was allowed bail by Sheriff Andrew McIntyre to an address on Gourock's Falmouth Drive.

The matters are due to call again on April 20, ahead of a trial scheduled for May 19.
