A GREENOCK man is angry over fly-tipping in the back garden of his block.

Andrea Rossini, who lives in Armadale Place, says a mattress and suitcase were dumped there months ago and have not been removed.

The 59-year-old said the items were abandoned at the beginning of the Covid-19 lockdown and have remained there ever since.

The items have been left to decay and he fears they are a potential health and safety hazard.

Mr Rossini says the council cannot intervene and has urged the owners of the items to dispose of them appropriately.
