STRATHCLYDE Partnership for Transport is investing more than £1m in Inverclyde.
Figures show that for the financial year 2020/21, a total of £1.3m has been earmarked for projects across the area.
Greenock town centre improvements topped the list at £565,000, followed by £330k on Port Glasgow access improvements, £165k for pedestrian crossing accessibility and £155k to improve traffic management systems.
A sum of £50,000 was also spent on cycle track improvements.
