POLICE are looking for a group of youths who smashed a car window after the driver asked them to move from the middle of the road.

The incident took place around 8pm on Saturday in Broomberry Drive in Gourock.

The motorist asked the group, which was two girls and five boys aged around 15, to move to let him past. They reacted by smashing the rear window of the car before running off towards Larkfield Road in Gourock.

Local Area Commander Paul Cameron said: "This type of antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated in our communities, I appeal to anyone who knows anyone responsible to let the police know."
