A MAN has been arrested after being found in possession of drugs and over £1,700 during a police search.
The 26-year-old was stopped during a proactive operation in Belville Street in Greenock at 7.45pm on Friday night.
A substance, believed to be herbal cannabis was recovered while the cash was seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
The local man will now be the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal.
