SNOW is could fall on Inverclyde for the first time this winter, the Met Office has announced.
The district has been told to expect snowfall from tomorrow night.
In a statement the Met Office said: "Frequent showers will increasingly turn to snow Wednesday night and persist into Thursday morning though these likely to fall as sleet and hail at times, mainly around coasts."
Inverclyde has been listed among regions that are expected to experience cold weather, with the risk of ice and snow.
