A LABOUR councillor with links to Inverclyde is hoping to be elected to the Scottish Parliament.
Paul O'Kane, who has visited the area to support party colleagues in the district, is pushing to be a list MSP for the west of Scotland.
He said: "I am standing to be an MSP to serve hard working people across west Scotland and Inverclyde to help change our communities for the better."
