A PORT Glasgow man has been charged with growing cannabis and rigging an electricity meter in his home.
Arthur Rooney, 61, of Oronsay Avenue, is said to have been caught committing the alleged offences on February 7.
He was absent from a first calling of the case at Greenock Sheriff Court on Friday.
The matters have been continued without plea until December 8.
