RESIDENTS at Bellaire House Care Home celebrated St Andrew's Day with the skirl of the pipes.
Kind-hearted Russell Young volunteered to entertain senior citizens who enjoyed a medley of his favourite Scottish tunes.
The piper played outside while residents listened to the music while socially distanced inside.
Pensioners also tucked into shortbread and fudge, kindly donated by Golden Casket, washed down by Scotland's other favourite drink - Irn Bru.
Margaret McElwee, activities co-ordinator, said: "We want to thank Russell, who was happy to play for residents and has volunteered to do so again in the future.
"Staff also participated and dressed up. It was a good atmosphere and lifted everyone's spirits."
