A GREENOCK man has been charged with assaulting a woman to injury by allegedly repeatedly punching her on the face and causing her to fall.
John Morrison, 36, of Westmorland Road, is said to have carried out the alleged attack at a property elsewhere in the town on November 7.
He is also accused of repeatedly shouting, swearing and uttering a threat of violence in a separate alleged incident at West Blackhall Street on November 14.
Morrison appeared at the sheriff court on Friday and pleaded not guilty through lawyer Ellen Macdonald.
He was allowed bail with the case due to call again next April.
