BUSINESSES in Inverclyde are to receive a share of a targeted Scottish Government coronavirus fund worth £185m.
The money will benefit a wide range of sectors, covering everything from taxis and arts venues to the hospitality sector.
A further £60m will be provided to the tourism sector.
Local pubs and other hospitality businesses will also be able to apply for additional one-off payments of either of £2,000 or £3,000 in January, to help them deal with the traditional post-Christmas dip in demand.
Inverclyde's MSP Stuart McMillan said: "I'd encourage all businesses in Inverclyde to continue to ensure they are receiving the support they’re entitled to by visiting Inverclyde Council and the Find Business Support websites."
