THE Christmas window decoration competition in Gourock has been hailed a great success.
A contest inspired by traditional carols lit up homes in the town.
The winners - depicting Away in a Manager and Silent Nigh - were the O'Hagan family.
In joint second-place were the Barclay family for a depiction of Away in a Manger and the Steele family for their design of a medley of favourite carols.
Third place went to the Crawford family who were inspired by It Was On A Starry Night.
The event was organised by Gourock Schools & Churches Together.
Winners received vouchers to spend in Kempock Street shops, courtesy of Gourock Schools & Churches Together.
