A MAN charged with an alleged two-month campaign of domestic abuse and death threats against his ex-partner during which he is alleged to have repeatedly bitten her face and trapped her in a loft is set for trial.
Owen Murray, 24, will face sheriff and jury proceedings in March after maintaining a plea of not guilty through lawyer David Tod at Greenock Sheriff Court.
Murray is accused of tormenting the woman at locations in the town and faces a total of 16 allegations of having committed offences against her between February 17 and April 19 last year.
The trial is due to start on March 8.
