A GREENOCK man has been charged with carrying out two knife assaults on a town centre street.
Alan Currie, 55, is said to have struck one man on the body to injury and attempted to strike another.
Prosecutors say Currie, of Laird Street, committed the offences on West Stewart Street in October 2019.
He has pleaded not guilty to the indictment allegations through lawyer Aidan Gallagher.
The case is due to call again at the sheriff court on March 23.
