From today, the Scottish Government are releasing daily figures on how many people across the country have received their Covid-19 vaccine.

The first vaccines against Covid-19 were administered on 8 December across Scotland.

From then until 11 January, 163,377 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination - this is based on management information and is subject to change on any given day.

Today in Scotland there were 1,782 new cases of COVID-19 reported and during the week ending 11 January, 15,050 people tested positive for the first time.

One death has been reported today, however the Scottish Government have noted that Register Offices are now generally closed at weekends.

Alongside daily updates on new cases and deaths, the Scottish Government will also release vaccination information for each day at gov.scot/coronavirusdata.

This information will also be shared on Scottish Government social media channels.
