A GOVERNMENT scheme to temporarily increase mobile phone data allowances has been launched to help Inverclyde youngsters with remote learning.
While face-to-face education has been disrupted, schools, trusts and local authorities can request mobile data increases for children and young people who meet certain criteria.
Those who do not have fixed broadband at home, cannot afford additional data for their devices and are experiencing disruption to face-to-face education are eligible.
