INVERCLYDE’S Covid infection rate remains the worst in the country according to data published today by Public Health Scotland.
The figure has been steadily declining over the last few days but at 424 per 100k it still outstrips everywhere else in Scotland.
The district was the only area listed with a rate above 400.
The Scottish average is 271.
Inverclyde's latest seven-day running total for positive tests stands at 330.
