POLICE say they are continuing their probe into an explosive leaked Morton document.

The Tele recently revealed the existence of a two-page paper criticising a club director, slamming fans' investment group chiefs, making cash demands and threatening to 'embarrass' the Rae family.

Cappielow bosses held a board meeting to discuss the document and then ordered an investigation.

The leaked document made several references to the chief executive role and relationships at the club, but Ton CEO Dave MacKinnon has declined to comment on it.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The inquiry is ongoing.

"We are waiting on more information, however at this time no criminality has been established."

When the Telegraph contacted Morton FC chairman Crawford Rae and asked if there was any update on the club's investigation he did not reply.
