THE coronavirus infection rate in Inverclyde has fallen again to 266 per 100,000 people as a steady decrease continues.
The area's reported rate hit around 580 per 100k in early January and it had remained the highest in the country, up until the weekend.
The Scottish average is 216.
Public Health Scotland said today that there had been 207 positive cases in Inverclyde from January 9-15.
