Coronavirus: Inverclyde death toll reaches 150 as eight more fatalities registered
EIGHT more deaths of people with Covid-19 have been registered in Inverclyde in just a week.
The tragic statistics were released this afternoon by National Records of Scotland.
It follows the reporting of 10 deaths last week.
The latest fatalities were registered between January 11-17.
The total number of deaths in the area, from all causes, registered in the same week was 21.
It means the Covid-19 death toll in the district since the start of the pandemic has now reached 150.
