INVERCLYDE residents who have tested positive for coronavirus have the chance to try out a new treatment.
Researchers and clinicians from NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and the University of Glasgow are recruiting members of the public to get involved in a clinical trial.
The treatment - an antiviral tablet called favipiravir - can be taken at home within four days of a positive Covid-19 test result.
The tablet is intended for people in the early stages of the illness who have mild symptoms.
