A GREENOCK woman is set for trial at the sheriff court accused of assaulting another female to injury — four days after being allowed bail regarding another criminal matter.
Margaret Fairbairn, 46, is charged with repeatedly punching the alleged victim to the head within a flat on Nelson Street on January 3 last year.
Fairbairn, of Inverkip Street, has had a plea of not guilty maintained in her absence from court by lawyer Edel McGinty.
The case is due to be head next month.
